In just a few days we begin not only a new year, but also a new decade. What a great moment to make a fresh start! Throughout January for “Get Organized” (GO!) Month, I will be sharing a series of habits that are helpful for anyone who wishes to get and stay organized. I’m nicknaming this series “Selfie-Disciplines,” because they are regimens that you can adopt by yourself, for yourself. I will also be including a ‘selfie’ photo each day to help you remember what to do!
The first week I will focus on daily practices, the second on weekly practices, the third on seasonal practices, and finally the fourth on annual practices.
If you want to make 2020 your most organized year yet, why not try out one, two, or more of these “selfie-disciplines?”
I’d love to hear which you try and how it is going, so please share your comments.
Wishing you your best year yet!

Sounds like a fun new series for the new year and now just want to wish you a very, Happy New Year ❤️
Happy New Year to you, Janine! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and here is to another year of blogging and friendship. Thank you for being such a faithful reader:)

Same back to you, Linda. We’ll see how this goes. I just love a month-long series in January, although it does keep me busy:)

Always fun to start the New Year off with a bang. I hope everyone finds a little something they decide to incorporate into their lives. I imagine many of my blogging and organizing friends will find selfie-disciplines that they already do!
Good luck with “Selfie-Disciplines”. Great idea.
A little word play fun for the new decade!
I’m SO looking forward to this, Seana! Happy New Year to you! Cheers to another successful year of regular, awesome blogging.

I hope it is a lot of fun for everyone!
This sounds like a great start to the year! I’m looking forward to your “Selfie-Disciplines” series.
Thanks Nancy. I hope we all have a lot of fun with it!
Seana,
I can’t wait to read your new series. Habits are so important to getting and staying organized. Once in place they become seamless and you don’t even have to think about them. I believe you once referred to habits as “ auto pilot.”
Warm regards,
Ronni
I was just talking with a client yesterday about this. She felt intimidated by the idea of having daily habits, but I was explaining this very point. Once they are in place (good or bad, actually), they require very little energy to maintain.
New Year and a new topic. I’m up for it. I always have room for improvement.
The start of a new year feels like the perfect time to try something new. I hope you find a habit or two you enjoy Dianne!
