Once again, the holiday season is upon us. As much as we love giving gifts, finding the perfect present can be a little stressful. Often we don’t know what people want, what they already have, what size they wear, what color they like, how much space they have and other information that would help us find “the perfect gift.” In my humble opinion, you can’t go wrong with the gift of organization. Gifts that help people to get organized and be more productive deliver joy all year long.
There are many great products out there. Here are a few of my favorites.
[Note: I am not being compensated to promote any of these products, I just like them.]
Seana’s Top Gifts for 2017
For the craft lover….
I love these yarn bowls. They are attractive enough to leave out on display, making it easy to access the yarn for your current project.
For the athlete…
While I haven’t actually seen this in person, it seems like a terrific option for bicycle storage in small spaces. Simply put the bike into the dock and it slides up the wall. Be aware that it is pricey and ships from Europe, so you need to order early.
For the fashionista….
This little product keeps your boots in great shape. It comes in different sizes and thicknesses to meet a variety of needs. It also folds flat for easy storage when not in use.
For the DIYer…
This magnetic wristband holds nails and drill bits within easy reach. Much better than balancing them on a shelf or having to dig into a work belt.
For the cat lover…
This little hammock offers a resting place for a cat without taking up any extra space.
For the dog lover…
I love these towels for wiping dirty feet. They come with a grommet and hook for hanging on a nearby hook or doorknob. Also, they are available for a variety of breeds.
For the expectant parents…
This little product turns any sink into a bathtub, and hangs flat to dry so it takes up little space.
For the person who likes things “just so”…
I saw these drawer organizers at the annual NAPO organizing conference. They are quite versatile and good for kitchen or bathroom drawers.
For the collector…
These reusable lids turn mason jars into great storage.
For the makeup lover…
I like this product because it is adjustable, washable and takes up a small amount of counter space for the storage it offers.
MOFIR Rotating Makeup Organizer
For the bride…
These garment bags are specially designed for brides, with pockets for all the various elements of the big day.
For the apartment dweller….
This standing desk is a nice option for people with little floor space. It could also make for a handy a drop zone in a small entry.
For the techie…
This little adhesive knob makes it easier to hold onto your handheld device. It is reusable and comes in a variety of designs.
For the traveler…
This scarf doubles as a carry all for passports, money and other small items.
For the gadget lover…
This small shelf mounts around an outlet to keep charging items up off the desk or counter.
For the cook….
This set of cookware stacks easily (pots and lids!) to take up less space in the cabinet.
Calphalon Premier Space Saving Cookware
For someone tight on space …
I like these pull-out bins for under a sink. The perforations in the baskets will allow air to move through and avoid odors.
For the worrier…
This handheld tool enables you to quickly conceal personal information on just about anything, including round medicine bottles.
For the student….
I love this lunchbox. It has separate spaces for cold and hot items.
For the beauty queen ….
This product holds hair dryers, straighteners and curling irons. It can sit on a counter or be hung with included hooks over a door. It is designed to be heat tolerant, so styling items can go immediately inside.
Finally, to tuck into a stocking…
I like these snack bag clips because they have a hole in the handle so you can hang the bags from hooks.
These holders have an adhesive backing allowing you to add instant pen storage to any surface. They are also handy for corralling a cord on a desk.
This tote bag folds up into a tiny package that can tuck into a purse or be hung from a backpack.

A gift that makes life easier is a gift that keeps on giving. What organizing tools have you found and loved this year?
Wow, this is an impressive and awesome list. A spied a few on here that I would love to gift, as well as get. So I think I may be sending this link to my husband, as well as referring back to for a few on my own list now, too. Thanks Seana!! 🙂

There are a few on this list that I would like too, Janine! Never hurts to put your “favorites” out there for all to see, right?
What a fun list, Seana! I like the organizing product theme. That yarn bowl is so beautiful. I’m not a knitter, but I can see that someone who knits would really appreciate something like that. The cat cradle is unique along with the bride’s garment bag. Nice sourcing!

I love that yarn bowl as well. It is so attractive that it could sit out anywhere, looking terrific and being functional at the same time. Now I just need to learn how to knit!
Great round-up! My favorites are the cat hammock and that Ikea standing desk. I may have to check that one out next time NAPO-CT does a Mega Store event there! 😉
I’m hoping to be there for the next Mega Store event! I could spend hours in Ikea….
Great list of fun gifts to give, Seana. I personally used reCAP Flip Mason Jar Lids. They have great options and work with various mason jars. Thanks for sharing.
I love the versatility of the caps because I find mason jars at so many client homes, but the lids rust easily. I know you need the metal for proper canning, but for storage, these lids seem much easier:)
I love everything in this list! Organizing items make me happy. I’ve actually just shopped online earlier to look for storage stuff! Can’t wait to get them. And yes, it can be stressful to think of the right gifts to people. Ha! Lists are helpful. In fact, I also have a blog post coming up about a gift guide.
Looking forward to your gift guide, Rea! Organizing gifts make me happy too… I would suggest any of these for myself:)
I look forward to this feature every year. You always come up with such interesting things – something for everyone!
Thanks so much, Janet. I collect ideas all year and love putting them together!
GREAT IDEAS. I HAVE THE FOLD UP BAG. i CAN PERSONALLY VOUCH FOR THAT. THEY ALL SOUND INTERESTING AND COVER SO MANY TASTES.
I have the fold-up bag as well and love it. In fact, I just took it on a trip to Florida and used it as a beach bag!
Delightful set of functional and fun! My favorite is of course the cat holder!
I didn’t know you were a cat lover, Ellen. I just love this product because it takes up no extra space at all… and I think cats would love it:)
Oh, wow! I love your list, Seana. I could use so many of them. My favorites are the bike rack and the stacking pots&pans.
The bike rack is amazing… so easy to use! The pots and pans are a dream. The stacking feature is terrific, and I am glad a manufacturer is finally thinking about this!
Love the travel scarf and the little cat crib. I don’t crochet any more but still love the look of the yarn bowl. Great list with such a variety!

I wish I could knit or crochet simply to justify buying the bowl! So much fun putting this together every year:)
They’re all so.. YOU!
My sister could use the baby sink/tub. The cat hammock rocks. We made one for my cat but it fell apart. She loved it, though.
Also, the boot holder is brilliant!!! I love this.
I know… I like everything on this list:) I love the cat hammock as well. I’m allergic, but if I could have a cat, I’d get this!
Love the cookware idea and that yarn bowl is beautiful!
I think the bowl is so pretty… too bad I don’t knit! Such a fun post to put together each year:)
Love the Baby Bloom. Especially love the links. done and Fone!!
I loved that Baby Bloom too, especially how you can hang it dry and it takes up so little space. The baby bath insert I had when my girls were little was rigid and kind of large. This is soft and so much better!
